Bald is BEAUITFUL!

Especially when you shave your head for cancer, like these GIRLS from Stelly's Secondary School. They raised over $1, 000 for this year's COPS for Cancer Tour de Rock!

WELL DONE!. I definitely wasn't shaving my head for cancer when I was 16. You're an inspiration to us all.
Thank you Sarah and all the girls who had us there for the big head shave-the first of many, I'm sure, to come this summer gearing up for the 2011 Tour de Rock.
GOING!

Tour de Zip

Thank you SO MUCH for showing your support for the 3rd Annual Tour de Zip at Adrenaline this past weekend. What a day! They generously donated HALF the proceeds from the day's ziplines to my and Louise Hartland's fundraising goal for Tour de Rock.

You helped us raise over $5, 000 for Camp Goodtimes and pediatric cancer. THANK YOU! And a huge thanks to ADRENALINE for putting on such a successful event. Heart you!!

If your heart doesn't melt with this picture...

there's something wrong with you.

Awwwww!

Meet Elmer. He's a 3-legged rescue dog from the SPCA who came by KOOL FM last week. He's been adopted, but there are so many other dogs and cats that need loving homes. I adopted my dog, Charlie, from the SPCA and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Although when Charlie saw this picture of me and Elmer, he got super jealous and stopped licking my face for a bit. We're good now.

How is this my JOB!?

Monday I spent the morning at Adrenaline in Sooke getting my ZIP on...I was testing out the course leading up to our big Tour de Rock Fundraiser this SATURDAY JUNE 25, 10-5pm

Half of all proceeds are going straight to Tour de Rock and Camp Goodtimes. $70 to zip for adults, $60 for youth. Reserve now, spots will definitely fill up! http://www.adrenalinezip.com/

So you should definitely come. What? You have your sister's wedding that day? DITCH IT! This is going to be good. Zip for a good cause and wear one of these SWEET helmets! Jealous?

He's SOOO...

electric, lectric, lectric, ELECTRIC!

And he’s on FIRE! Hot off the Much Music Video Awards with a win for BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR Sunday night in Toronto, SHAWN DESMAN came by KOOL FM yesterday to co-host with me for a bit before heading to Club 9one9 for KOOL FM’s FAN FEST.

When he’s not winning MMVAs or performing at sold out shows in Victoria, Shawn is prank calling our friends…with his best sexy voice.

PDA: When is enough ENOUGH?

Is this too much, for example?

Justin Bieber and girlfriend, Selena Gomez, enjoying several initmate moments while in Hawaii.
Justin Bieber and mistress, Brittany King, also enjoying several initimate moments in Hawaii.

Misuse of Spandex?? I'm HURT.

Look Mom, I'm on TV...

Getting stopped by the police.

Wednesday, May 25 was the Commuter Challenge as part of Bike to Work Week. A vehicle VS a cyclist. Robin Farrell was our environment-killing driver for the challenge, I was the green-thinking cyclist, for the Uptown to Downtown Challenge. Who would get to the final destination faster?

I'm happy to report 15 out of the 20 challenges ended up with the cyclist winning. I, unfortunatley, was not so successful.
Robin, you win. And by "win", I mean, YOU CHEATER!!!!!!

The 113th Annual Victoria Day Parade

I grew up going to the Victoria Day Parade EVERY year when I was a kid, and this year...I GOT TO BE IN IT! I joined the Tour de Rock/TREK Bikes float along with 6 other Tour de Rock riders this year and waved my little butt off.

Which, by the way, was clad in spandex. Normally being on display in front of 60, 000 people clad in spandex wouldn't be my idea of a good time, but the parade has so much history and to be there with some of my Cops for Cancer teammates was definitely a highlight of my year, spandex and all.
